AWAKE is excited to share Swain County’s first ever Multi-disciplinary Team partner of the year recipient, Lt. Detective Carolyn Posey! Carolyn was instrumental for the development of AWAKE-Swain and her heart for victims of child abuse is unwavering. Her dedication for helping children find justice and healing is inspirational for the entire team. We are so thankful to have her as a partner and also a friend.
